MolQuest version 2.4 of for Windows and Linux platform has been released and is now available for downloading

MolQuest is the most comprehensive, easy-to-use desktop application for sequence analysis and molecular biology data management. MolQuest ver. 2.4 for Windows, have been recently released and is available for downloading as trial versions here. They include the fastest and most accurate family of eukaryotic genefinding programs, fgenesh/fgenesh+, for a variety of different genomes, as well as pipelines for fully automatic annotation of eukaryotic (fgenesh++) and bacterial (fgenesb) genomes, that were widely used in scientific publications (see here) and are well known for their accuracy. Each package provides an user-friendly interface for primer design, internet database searches, gene prediction, promoter identification, regulatory elements mapping, patterns discovery protein analysis, multiple sequences alignment, phylogenetic reconstruction, and a wide variety of other functions, for instance:

  • Run common bioinformatics tasks such as BLAST searching, gene finding on multiple sequences in a batch.
  • Configurable analysis options allow advanced users to perform sophisticated data analysis
  • Provides annotation and visualization helping analyze the results and presenting them for publication.
  • Provides a graphical user interface for constructing pipelines.
  • Allows user to integrate any console applications into MolQuest GUI shell.

The following programs include graphic viewers for visual and interactive analysis of their results:

  • 3D-Comp - 3D Explorer.
  • 3D-Match - 3D Explorer.
